Obertraun in March

The weather can be very different... one day it feels like winter, and then the next day it feels like spring...And, surprisingly, this is exactly what the forecast said...

Obertraun - the sport school

This is the sport school in Obertraun – I made these pictures for a friend who used to come to ski there as a schoolboy. I am sure the place is pretty much the same…. At least he mentioned the yellow buildings.

Another beautiful day up there

Gosau-Zwieselalm

No time is enough for me to spend here...

I read somewhere that Kaiserin Elizabeth used to visit Zwieselalm... she would walk up hill, and her luggage would be carried by the servants...I am not sure in which house she stayed, but she saw the same mountains and meadows that we see nowadays.
Jablonzerhutte was run by a family for about 30 years...The place was run with a perfect style. Kaisershmarn they cooked was my favorite in the whole of Austria... As of last year they retired and now there is a new family running the place.. I hope they find their own perfect way of doing it..
